Andaman Nicobar Beaches

India is endowed with several beautiful beaches, dotting its long coastline. From a tourist point these Andaman Nicobar islands have immense potential. The clear waters, white sandy beaches on the edge of meandering coastline are fringed with coconut-palms that sway to the rhythm of the sea and make Andamans a perfect tropical paradise.

Neil Islands offers good beaches for snorkelling. Here the beaches are numbered and beach number 1 has some lovely hammocks under trees which are very popular among the campers. There is also a fresh water well. One can watch very large fish from these islands.

There are number of good beaches on Wandoor but watch for the strong currents. The marine park of Wandoor includes the uninhabited North and South Cinque. Cinque islands are among the most beautiful islands in the Andamans. It is surrounded by pristine coral reefs
